This just gets your energy to start flowing again more smoothly, and also helps you to release thoughts, feelings and patterns that may have kept recurring, that you may find it hard to release. There are many EFT videos on youtube, have an experiement if you fancy it and see what helps. There are very good ones by Brad Yates, just have a look and see what helps and resonates with you. They cover many subjects including money, health, emotion, motivation, everything, and it really is a very good way to find relief and flow again. It is simply about tapping on acupressure points, whilst reprogramming your thoughts, allowing your energy to flow more easily and supportively.
This is the key to all relief, you are meant to live a happy life, and when life has been very difficult and traumatic, it really becomes a struggle. So then things get out of balance, especially your relationship with yourself.
Another fabulous and immediately helpful thing to do, again is tapping, this time on your hairline, just at the top of your forehead. As you do, say now, I now choose...(anything that feels good) Joy, life, ease, flow, happiness, money, abundance, well being, anything that feels good. Anytime you feel these emotions starting to well up, just do this, and you will find that you feel immediate relief. You will feel pressure starting to rise up, just allow it to do that and it will release.
Over the next few days, weeks maybe even months, you may find that some very strong emotions will start to come up within you. Do not be scared, or resist, allow them to come up and just do the tapping. Keep tapping round until you feel relief, this is allowing them to process through you. And most importantly release, and allow you to feel really better, lighter, easier and happier. And this is when your life starts to reflect back to you your new renewed energy, bringing in a much easier, happier and more flowing experience, confirming to you that you are much more powerful and creative than you realised.
